What is the V3Connect referral network and how can it help my business?

The V3Connect platform is a digital version of an existing referral network. The platform is designed to connect vetted members providing product(s) or service(s) to customers on the platform. This is a win-win for members as they get business that may have gone to a different provider of the needed product or service. In addition, it’s a win for customers to work with real business professionals that have been vetted and background checked. Also, if there is ever a problem you can contact V3Connect and we will do all we can to make the situation right. The resolution will be based on the contract or purchase order of a product or service from a V3Connect member. 

How does V3Connect make money?

V3Connect generates revenue from paid memberships, business events, paid ads and articles on the platform and in the newsletter, commissions sales of products and services, affiliate partners’ ad space and marketing.

Is V3Connect available in my market?

V3Connect was started in Southern Oregon, we are able to sign up members anywhere in the US. Anyone in the US can buy a product or service from anyone on the platform anywhere in the US. 

How do I set up a member account?
Select “Register” then click on the member account setup. This will take you through a simple application process. You will have an option to set up your Perks or Non-perks account. Once you enter the requested information your application will be reviewed for approval. Keep in mind that Perks members are required to have a background check done which is paid for by the applicant. The Perks option provides many benefits that the non-perks membership does not. How do I set up a customer account?
Select “Register” then click on set up a customer account. This will take you through a quick and easy free account setup. V3Connect customers will have access to businesses and freelancers working in the Gig-economy. Our customers enjoy the ease of finding quality businesses and freelancers offering B2B services. When you as the customer pick a Perks member you will be dealing with a vetted and background checked provider of the products and services you need!
What are the benefits of becoming a V3Connect Perks member?

Perks members get the following marketing options at no additional cost!

  • Perks members get the first shot on requests for their products and or services within their market.
  • A linked online enhanced profile that is viewable by V3Connect customers (this enhanced profile is only for perks members). This option is searchable and accessible via popular services if applicable per the service groupings.
  • A front-page ad for your business, product(s) or service(s) for the first 3 months of your membership. This time can be extended for a reduced cost to the perks member.
  • A publication in our digital V3Newsletter 1-2 times per each yearly membership.
  • Perks members also get a special rate or free space at live V3Connect events.
  • 15 min business coaching session 1 time per quarter. Session times are limited and will be scheduled first come first serve. 
Does V3Connect has a free option?

V3Connect offers a non-paid membership option. This is called Non-perks and this is a commission only option. The commissions are paid when a referral from the V3Connect platform or a V3Connect business event results in the sale of product(s) or service(s). Non-perks members will need to pass a basic background check before their membership is approved. 

Do V3Connect members need to be licensed, insured and bonded?

All businesses on the V3Connect platform should all have the proper licensing, insurance and be bonded when applicable.

As part of the vetting process perks members will need to provide their license info and if they have proper insurance and if they are bonded if needed.

Though we recommend all businesses and freelancers are licensed, insured and properly bonded Non-perks members don’t have to provide proof like perks members do as part of the vetting process.

How soon can I get referrals?

As soon as your application is processed and your background check is passed and your membership payment is made you will be eligible to receive referrals. Be sure to check the site often as jobs can be posted to the job boards at any time. Perks members will normally be notified if an RFP “request for proposal” or “request for product” that matches your offering comes in so be sure to watch your email as well. 

Who needs a background check?

As part of the vetting process for all perks and non-perks members’ applications V3Connect utilizes a third-party vendor such as Screeningone to conduct the secure background checks. The basic cost for background checks is $50.00 and needs to be paid at the time of completing the online application. This fee is nonrefundable as it is paid to the background screening vendor for services rendered. If the applicant has lived in multiple states and the background fees exceed the standard $50.00, they will be notified, and the additional fee must be paid before the application will be approved.

Perks member applications background checks: Once the online application has been filled out and the application fee has been paid you will receive a secure link from Screeningone to your email provided. Click the link or copy and paste it into your web browser of your choice. Fill out the information and the application will be processed. This normally takes 5 – 7 business days. 

Does V3Connect website security?
The V3Connect platform utilizes best practices for site/platform security. The site utilizes encryption for all sensitive information and passwords. In addition, V3Connect utilizes a 3rd party web infrastructure and website security company that provides content delivery network services, DDoS mitigation and internet security. No payment information is saved outside of the secure payment processing for yearly and monthly memberships. As the platform/site is updated and new features come online all members and customers will be notified via internal messaging of any updates to the site or t&c of the platform/site.
How do I change login and Password information?

The Platform/site login for V3Connect has the option for you to log-in quickly and securely via GOOGLE, FACEBOOK or LINKEDIN or if you prefer you can set up your own secure unique login. When setting up a customer account just select GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, LINKEDIN or enter an email and desired password. Be sure to record or write down your password and keep it in a safe place.

We would recommend that a customer or member on the platform utilize a minimum of 12 – 14 characters and includes upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters.

You will be emailed a secure link to your email to finish your account setup. In just minutes you are set up and are able to search for a service or use the popular services links to review perks members by grouped categories.

For Platform/site passwords we recommend that customers and members reset their passwords a couple of times a year. We also recommend that no person or company utilizing the platform use any common words or things that an individual with malicious intent could find by searching your social platforms or other public information.

If you are unable to log in or forget your password, just click on the Forgot Password and fill in the information and enter your email address. Complete the reCAPTCHA and click submit. You will be sent a secure link to reset your password. 

What is the V3Newsletter?

This e-pub showcases V3 Consulting Services news, V3Connect news and updates as well as articles showcasing V3Connect member business, Community and non-profit events. This publication has been a bi-monthly publication, with that said we may go to a monthly or 2 times per month based on the news and V3Connect member companies. The publication goes out to our ever-growing mailing list as well as our social platforms. For more information see t&c for the V3Connect referral network. 

What is the V3Connect demerit system?

Demerits – is a negative mark given to a business or freelancer also known as a “member” that is in violation of the t&c, policies or failure to meet their obligation with a customer or meeting a customer’s expectations. The following is a list of the majority of things that can earn a member a demerit. If a company or freelancer gets 3 demerits associated with their account, the relationship may be terminated once their account is in good standing. For more information see the t&c.

Late payments of commissions or membership fees.

Doing free work or work in trade for a referral customer.

Not fulfilling contractual obligations or orders from V3Connect customer referrals.

A customer complaint that is not settled.

The aforementioned list and other violations may result in a demerit.  These and other violations of the t&c can and will result in a demerit. If a business relationship is terminated the account must be made in good standing before the V3Connect member contract is closed. 

What payment methods are accepted?
The accepted methods of payment are check, Paypal, and Visa & Mastercard for recurring membership payments. Commissions payments should be made via check or Paypal. If Paypal is utilized add 3% for payment processing.
